1. Tim Wiley couldn't track down shnid 32318 for TMNSP, so this is an alternate seed with some extras.
2. Includes bonus tracks from 11/17/78b (Ship of Fools, Estimated). Bonus track lineage is Sounboard->Unknown. I found these on an old DAT of mine.

Dead Head
This was my very first experience with members of The Grateful Dead. I "Paid" with a can of soup.
Later on that night, I saw the entire band just a few "L" stops away at the beautiful Uptown Theater.

I am stunned at the thought of this show and the size of the audience. What an amazing blast it must have been.
The pictures were too cool. Thanks

Small World
I couldn't believe it when I found this show. I am a Loyola student and 21 yr old neo-Head (to the point where I think I can rightfully say GD has opened my eyes to a new lifestyle and perspective on music since I was 6). The 'Rambler Room' was my cafeteria for my Frosh/Soph years at Loyola...and when my friends and I discovered that one of our most cherished groups played in it...my love of this timeless band shot straight through my heart like it never had before. Well, that's the Dead for you...they do things like that to people...even those who were never born in time to see them...thats timelessness.
Peace

Fun
A uniqie and enjoyable perforamce, I would stream this for sure. Just an FYI, I get annoyed with these Deadbase geeks weho have stats memorized, but I felt it important to note this is not the first performance of Oh Boy and certainly not Deep Elem Blues. They did Oh Boy once in '71 on the April tour, I believe Manhattan Center or Boston Music Hall. Deep Elem was played several times in their 1970 acoustic sets. SO feel free to seek out these versions and enjoy.
